A scorpion stings itself when you put it in a ring of fire

Today is WK’s 22nd birthday! Happy birthday friend, have a great year ahead! :) In the background is our new campus under construction, we are moving in this july, and its one funky building design – also controversial in recent times as being accused as one of the many reasons why the university is increasing its expenses – hence the need for the hike in school fees. Apparently, the roof is turfed with grass, and students are supposed to be able to walk from the ground floor to the roof along the slope curves of the building – all three of us agreed it looked too steep to climb without assistance… oh well, we’ll see how it goes when it opens.

there's nothing that makes a designer prouder than seeing his design on display! the picture is abit over exposed and burnt out on the banner, but make do lah…. woo hoo!

Haven't been posting much of school work because most of it is quite embarassingly sub standard this semester, here’s some though, a skyscraper made of card whose height is supposed to be 7 times its base…. was a bit wobbly but glad it withstood the project presentation and submission.

My SIFF list so far:

1. Manderlay
2. Noriko's Dinner Table
3. Blue Cha Cha
4. Pepot Superstar
5. Phillipines Digital Cinema Shorts

Also wanna watch Giant Buddhas by Christian Frier, any takers?

BTW, another shout out, Nanyang Supermarket suddenly stopped selling my favourite brand of instant noodles – and i'm starving here in hall… anyone knows where else in Singapore can you get “Maitri” brand dried indomee vegetarian instant noodles? Leave a comment and will be immensely grateful.

    Dear noodles lover,

I’m from Holland and I was in Bali on vacation with my mother. There we eat the instant noodle from the brand `Maitri` back in Holland I was searching from the pure vegetarian noodles, but I couldn’t find it anywhere. Do you know a place in near Holland or the factory I can contact for more information. There are many vegetarian people her but it’s so difficult to find something without any meat.
