Watched my first SIFF film this year
Fassbinder’s In a Year with 13 moons
It wasn’t what i expected
the only 2 other fassbinder films i've seen are
Ali: Fear Eats the Soul
and Lola
and this was nothing like those 2 films
It very avant garde in comparison
but strange
i think its one of those films that will sink in after some time
the slaughterhouse sequence definitely stuck
the worse thing is you can’t avoid looking at the screen
cos you had to read the subtitles.

must watch
its so painfully funny
and liberating
and extremely depressing
for me at least
