Muffins and SSA
The end of sem celebrations were held in school yesterday, student work was showcased and so were the little class exercises we did in film class, Lincoln did a beautiful signage that could be broken up into little boxes containing our DVDs after the event, 25 boxes for 25 film majors.

after that went down for silver s/creen awards. Nope Solos didn’t get anything. 
I kinda expected it but what i didn’t expect was for Junfeng not winning Best Short Film.
I really felt it deserved to win, but yes, the jury has decided.
But still, congrats for Junfeng and Wei Keong in their awards!

Syndromes and a Century
With a title like that, how can it be bad?
It wasn’t, i enjoyed it, but it’s also one of those films that you can’t not like
cos there’s nothing to compare it with
i wonder how the director conceptualised the scenes,
was it on the spot improv or deliberated decisions?
I nodded off slightly, regrettably, in the first half
but the 2nd half really had me interested
especially when everything seems to start over again.
it’s a liberating film to watch
everything and anything is possible
it made me wonder about the western narrative structure again
we can never make films that can compare to their craft
we don't have the training and infrastructure
should we swing the other way instead then?
