I din know that Lim Peifen, a yes933 DJ, was the host for the press conference. Does she look kawaii? lol
Anyway, the report also says that you emphasised that you act in it because you want to learn from Ekachai. But this film is just like Lust.Caution, where the focus is on “that” scene. This is a fact.
But in the future, I guess that you will not be filming any nude scenes hor?
But at least you can tell your children, or grandchildren that you once did that scene, and how you maintain your figure well to shoot for that scene. haha

It takes courage to do a nude scene i guess…..especially in a relatively conservative society like ours….:)

Watched the movie but i didn’t quite like the way they censored the movie. I find the censored masturbation scene (almost all) and gay sex scene (some portion) important as it expresses the inner feelings of the character. Without which, the “desire” of the characters doesn’t seem so strong. As a result, the story feels rather incomplete.
But of course, plus point is, zihan acted naturally in the movie and not to mention, Yang Gui Mei, excellent acting even without much dialouge.

And zihan, i think you already become a very popular person overnight. There is one DJ on yes933, who is ms peifen’s colleague, talking about you on air, without specifying your name.
And he talks about you to one of the guys of MLB, 迷路兵, who also studies in NTU.
And also coincidentally, Ms Peifen was one of the alumni of NTU’s mass comm. Ms Stefanie Sun was one of the alumni of NTU’s Business-Marketing.

Just catch the PLeasure factory today and i really applaud u for yr courage to go nude in front of all people & for the sake of art…if i have such an opportunity i would do so too…haha..well, storyline really reflect the feel and meaning of geylang and the feeling that not too much people know abt…well..well done dude…Do keep up the good work…

Hi Zihan,
I just got back from the screening of Pleasure Factory and to be honest, it was way much better than what I expected it to be, or at least from what I read from the media.
The scene where you had butterflies in you stomach while Xue-er was in the shower is quite good, and rather funny at times.
Other than that, I think Yang Gui-mei is really a gem in the movie. Her portrayal of an old prostitute is excellent.

well done, zihan… just watched PF. the nuances in the characters spoke greater volumes than any conversation. Jon’s naivete, Kiat’s frustration, and the older prostitute’s pride, were so realistic and tangible. the only regret is that i just don’t get ananda’s role in all this.

Haha, that’s up to your own interpretation i guess, not everything has to be explained so clearly, you decide what it means to you. My guess is as good as yours, have to ask the director what he means.
