Countdown to Singapore

- Leaving Taiwan in a few hours, have several errands to run, on top of stuffing everything into my luggage… I didn’t buy much, but my family bought a lot! Its been a good trip, I think this is the longest extended period of time I’ve spent with my family in recent years. It can get quite trying at times, and sometimes you just need some personal space – but your family is truly a reflection of your own character, I learnt more about myself through spending time with them.

- I had some time alone yesterday, spent time with some Taiwanese friends while my family went to Tamshui. Ended up in Wufenpu buying clothes, and Raohe Night Market after…. I only had 1000 NT with me…. so most of it was “window shopping”.

- After the “shopping” I met my family to sing K @ 钱柜 aka Partyworld! The largest chain of Karaoke bar in Taiwan. The place does live up to its name, it is indeed “Gui (Expensive)”…. but it was still an interesting experience! And the menu was quite impressive, apparently locals go there for the wide selection of great food.

- Went to Yangmingshan’s “食养山房” the day before – an exquisite restaurant situated in the middle of a pine forest, but that will take an entry in itself… which i will elaborate when I get back! Ok, got to go to 诚品 one last time before i fly…. Bye Taiwan!

don’t goto Cashbox, instead sing @ Holiday KTV… there’s many outlets and i went to the one right smack in XMT! each one paid only abt SGD22 and we had the whole night of K plus free flow of drinks AND food buffet. the room had its own toilet even!
