Gemuk Girls Opens Tomorrow
An outtake of Alin at Fort Canning Park, taken as part of the multimedia design for Gemuk Girls, the play staged by The Necessary Stage.
The show opens tomorrow night and runs till 9th November, it has been an intense rehearsal period and I believe it is shaping up to be an important play about political detainees in Singapore.
The show will be travelling up to KL in Early December after its run in Singapore.
Helmi turned to me during one of the rehearsals and said tongue-in-cheek ”Do you know you are a minority here” 
It has been an interesting experience working in a largely Malay speaking environment….
