Broken Embraces is coming to American theaters soon - I'm really looking forward to that too. I noticed you have also watched Lynch's Blue Velvet. I enjoyed Mulholland Drive more, perhaps for its more contemporary feel. His most recent work, Inland Empire, was completely unwatchable for me. von Trier's Antichrist had some really beautiful scenes, but I thought there was too much torture porn in there as a crutch. And, as if you don't have enough films to watch already, there's 4 Months 3 weeks 2 days (Cristian Mungiu), Amores Perros (Iñárritu), Y tu mama tambien (Cuarón), The Devil's Backbone (Guillermo del Toro), Persepolis... just to name a few more to add to your list While Volver may not have been his best, I liked the black comedic angle to the story and I loved the soundtrack. He has a new film out soon, looking forward to it. Let the Right One In was beautifully shot! And a great story.... Will check Nightwatch out!
